Leadership Training Program

Trainees are a critical part of our talent pipeline and are developed to become business leaders in our company. We truly believe that this program will develop you into some of the best future leaders of the organization.
The program is held in our New York City corporate office and is for full-time MBA students, you must be a second-year student graduating in the spring. Given the level of responsibilities our Trainees will be provided, we are seeking experienced talent with multiple full-time professional experiences. Additionally, we are interested in individuals who have demonstrative success in solving problems, collaborating, and can lead and influence others. Please note – we do not provide visa sponsorship.
We welcome a new class of trainees into the 12-month program annually.

Merchandising
In the Merchandising rotation, you will learn to use shopper analytics insights to set assortment strategies, buying and allocation. You will get the opportunity to collaborate cross functionally with logistics, business tech, store operations, store visual merchandising, online sales and marketing. This merchandising experience will expose you to a 360 view of the H&M retail business because every function touches the product from different perspectives.

Customer Activation & Marketing
In the Customer Activation & Marketing rotation, you will learn how our online business operates and how we leverage customer insights to deliver a better customer experience for both store and online channels. You will partner with media, merchandising, and customer experience and operations teams, among others, during your rotation.

Business Tech
Our teams cater to the individual needs and desires of our millions of customers, delivering end-to-end value chain tech solutions for all H&M Group brands. Fashion, design, customer value, tech, and data are in our DNA. In the Business Tech rotation, you will be part of our product organization’s Customer Domain, focusing on building strong relationships between our brand and customers—new and existing—with digital capabilities and data. In this immersive experience, you will rotate through different customer-focused Product Areas that expose you to different parts of H&M Group and its business, with an emphasis on business strategy, product management and customer data and insights.
